Does it work with every app, systemwide?
Yes. Compressito processes your Mac's entire system audio, so it works with Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV, VLC, games, music — anything that makes sound. There's nothing to configure per app.
Why money back guarantee vs a trial?
We debated for a while, but decided the most transparent way is to have you use it, and then if you dont love if for any reason, now or in the future, you get a full refund. This keeps our incentives aligned, and makes sure you are satisfied. Email us within 12 months for a complete refund.
Will it slow down my Mac?
No. It uses ~0.7% CPU while processing audio and ~ 30 MB of memory. When it's off, it uses essentially nothing.
Is the app trustworthy?
Compressito is a native macOS app, code-signed and notarized by Apple. It requires macOS 15 or later and runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Our code is simple and small, made by a single dev.
What about my privacy?
Your audio is processed live, on your Mac, and never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. See our privacy page for the full details.
